Western Front Day Tours

We invite you to come along and visit northern France and southern Belgium with Western Front Tours as we move along the Western Front sharing our knowledge and experiences with you. You will see places of beauty, of history and also the ever present reminders at the tragedy that was WWI. No rush, no hurry, we move along at a pace that is comfortable for you. If you would like to visit a grave or a special place we can easily accommodate these requests and in fact welcome them. All tours commence from the beautiful city of Arras, and leave at a comfortable 9.00am and return most times in the late afternoon so that you have time to rest briefly before going out to explore the many restaurants and cafès available here. The tour to Ypres in southern Belgium will bring you back in the mid to late evening following our attendance at the daily 8.00pm (20:00hrs) Last Post’ ceremony at Menin Gate. Some of the locations available are The Somme including Villers-Bretonneux, the Adelaide Cemetery, the Victoria School, Le Hamel, Pozieres (1st Division Memorial), Mouquet Farm, Thiepval. Other locations are Bullecourt, Fromelles, Messines, Ypres, Polygon Wood (5th Division Memorial), Tyne Cot Cemetery (Passchendaele Ridge), plus many, many more. Western Front Tours is a newly established tour business operated by an Australian couple from Melbourne, specialising in single to five person tours.
